See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.

This long and narrow multi-room pub was originally called the Cross Keys and is next to the former St Mary's School, whose Victorian and older buildings still stand, and where Michael Hardman MBE, co-founder of CAMRA, began his education and played in the rugby league team that won the 1957 Warrington primary schools championship. No Real Ale.
